Jogging Safety Tips

Hi,
I think probably one of the best ways to feel confident and beautiful is through exercise. I know a lot of people would rather read this blog:^), watch TV, or read a book maybe even finish their home work or chores and expect to feel confident and accomplished. I will admit when I finish my homework I feel pretty good but you have to have a break from everything for a while. Seriously I don't care how much you love your boyfriend I guarantee that if you spent 24/7 texting him...well to say the least...you would probably kill him. So now that we have got the "I just have to talk to my boy friend or bff to feel better" excuse out of the way lets be serious. I'm  not one of those people who believes exercise solves everything but I will say it is nice after a long stressful day of school to go for a jog around town. I have to say I love going to work to be happy but I don't feel that everyone feels that way. So if you decide to use jogging or walking off your property as a stress reliever then you have to make sure you're safe at all times. Here are few tips to help.
1. The best advice I can offer you is to trust how you feel or bring a dog with (my puppy is my favorite) here is why. I used to go for late night walks in the summer. I was walking with my dog one night and we were near an area with a lot of trees. My dog is very protective and careful so when I started walking toward the trees and he sat down growled and refused to go any farther I decided it was time to go home. A few minutes later a huge bear ran from the trees into the open. FYI dogs rock!
2. Wear something bright like neon white, green, orange, pink, blue. Please think about where you are jogging because if you're in a forest green and brown are not going to work for you.
3. Always keep these things with you: PHONE (even if you are out of service you can still dial 911), KEYS (duh),
4. This one is optional but I would feel stupid if I didn't have this at all times. I know this sounds crazy and extreme but bad stuff happens that's why I always have my: ID card, emergency numbers that are not in cell phone (phones are easily broken in a fall or car accident), If you are very concerned bring a card that has your blood type and religion on it (don't put any numbers on it like social security!)
5. Don't forget to tell at least 2 people where you are going and when you should be back!

Those are the rules I go by.
